I have been trying out a few small projects around the house. For example, I dusted a few days ago. And today I took the stuff I brought home from my office and I put them all away. It was a great feeling to accomplish even small tasks like that! I know this is all part of the healing journey but it seems funny to get so excited to accomplish small tasks. I am looking forward to the day I get something done that requires good eyesight. That will be a day of celebration. My  plans now are to mop the kitchen floor. We’ll see if I get too dizzy. Baby steps…

  1. Hi Glenda, So happy to hear you are doing simple chores and enjoying them! I wish I lived closer so that I could come and help you; I love to clean! Please comment on your blog about how your vision and dizziness, white tongue and hair falling out. I hope all of things are getting better! Love, Jeanne

  2. Glenda, you have been on my mind constantly since the conference in June; I wondered why you didn’t respond to my emails. Now I know. This blog is brilliant, like you are! Thank you for your courage to be transparent, and such a champion…Much love and blessings to you and your family.

    • So good to hear from you Brigid!! Sorry I did not respond to your emails. It will still be a month or two before I can catch up on emails. I hope you are well.

  3. Amen to the above about the white tongue, hair falling out and visions issues and dizziness, What MD is monitoring this? What does that mean? white tongue could be candida or leukoplakia. How is your eating going? All of these odd sort of things need to be connected in some way to the healing process,

the frustration I feel in today’s healthcare world is that all sort of symptoms seem to be out there but who is seeing the whole????

    just a thought..

    • Thanks Sonja. My tongue seems to be healing and I haven’t mentioned it to any car provider. I will give it another month and see how it goes.
