This Wednesday I’ll be having two guests on the show, Dayna Carlson and Taylor Lamont, and we’ll be discussing structural integration. Dayna Carlson began her bodywork career as a student at the Utah
College of Massage Therapy (UCMT) in 2009. After graduation, Dayna attended The Structural Integration Institute headed by Taylor Lamont studying a number of the techniques we’ll be talking about on the show. Upon graduation from SII, Dayna has maintained a private practice in West Jordan, Utah, specializing in Structural Integration, Neurofascial Unwinding, Cranial Sacral Therapy and Massage. She continues to study holistic approaches to healing and wellness through continuing education and strives to gain her full potential in bodywork.
Taylor Lamont is a Licensed Massage Therapist, and specializes in Structural Integration or Alignment Therapy. He began his career in bodywork working with various athletes in and around Salt Lake City. Taylor is both a bodyworker and an educator. He is the Founder and Director of Education at The Structural Integration Institute in Salt Lake City, where he teaches the Lamont Method of Alignment Therapy to other Massage Therapists. The Lamont Method utilizes all the principles and techniques Taylor has found most successful throughout his career, and focuses on helping the body to work as effortlessly as possible with gravity. Taylor also maintains his full-time private practice within the institute, and is continually researching new approaches to improving health.
